Schuylkill County Municipal Authority (SCMA) is seeking motivated individuals wishing to pursue a career in the Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry.  Experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities and / or sanitary sewer collection systems is a plus.

Utility Worker – Distribution and Collection Department

Under the direction of the DC Manager, the Utility Worker is responsible for the maintenance of SCMA’s facilities, infrastructure, and grounds. This position is available on 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with periodic scheduled on-call and off hours work as needed. Evening, Weekend, and Holiday work may be required. On-call rotation for emergency callouts. Essential job functions would include operations of heavy equipment, repairing broken water and sewer lines, maintenance of facilities and grounds, and other duties as assigned and or required.
